Steve Parker, GMB, CGR, CAPS

Founder and President
A native of Fort Worth, Steve Parker has been involved in the construction business most of his life. As a teenager, he performed odd jobs for the various crews in his father's business. After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1983, he became involved at the higher levels of the family business. As Project Manager for the remodeling branch of the company, Steve achieved many impressive awards - 1999 North Texas Remodeler of the Year by Building Trends Magazine, 1997 Remodeler of the Year by the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association, and, in 1994 his family's business was named a Big50 Remodeler by Remodeling Magazine.

Over the years Steve has been told by his customers that they enjoy working with him, not only for the good control he has over his jobs, but for the kind and conscientious manner in which he approaches the people he works with. He enjoys building positive relationships with his customers and helping them through the stressful times that can go with remodeling one's home.
Steve has attained three designations through his commitment to continuing his education. These designations are issued through the National Home Builders Association (NAHB) and are described below:
GRADUATE MASTER BUILDER (GMB)
The ultimate symbol of the building professional, the Graduate Master Builder designation is for experienced veterans only. Before beginning the GMB designation process, you must have the CGB designation, the CGR designation, or the CGA designation with five years of building experience, or ten years of building experience and have completed three CGB/CGR/CGA courses. GMB courses are more advanced with in-depth instruction geared for experienced building professionals.
CERTIFIED GRADUATE REMODELOR™ (CGR)
The CGR is an exclusive professional designation designed to emphasize business management skills as the key to a professional remodeling operation.
CERTIFIED AGING-IN-PLACE SPECIALIST (CAPS)
The CAPS designation program teaches the technical, business management, and customer service skills essential to competing in the fastest-growing segment of the residential remodeling industry: home modifications for the aging-in-place.
